Seized the Lamby on the way down to your excellent weekend (Well done to all the organisers BTW ) I took the barrel and piston off this morning and it doesn't look too bad and should clean up no problem. However, I managed to snap the bottom ring ( 3 ring piston ) while taking it to bits. Now, I'm sure I've read somewhere that these pistons will run fine with just the top 2 rings but I'm not sure if I've just made that bit up. Anyone got any thoughts before I order a new set?

Cheers Scottie, it's all back together again minus the ring. I'll see how it goes and get a new set when I can be arsed running them in.

Id upgrade the piston to a decent 2 ring set up Cheers Paul, my plan was to do this (and get the ports matched) at the end of the year. I'll see how this one copes until then.
