just back a wee run on ma px200..is a 2000 year...found oil ower the back tyre an seems to be comin from back o the carb bit no share as started rainin as a wiz avin a deek...def from top o engine...any ideas?..ta

take the carb top off and , check your oil lube hose isnt leaking where it latches onto the carb, check the carb is tight to the base, l ook at the back of the carb box (inside) and see if there a build up of oil at the we grommet where it would run out, lastley take the carb off and replace the base gasket and clean up the channel where the oil runs along

mind an check the output shaft fae the gearbox as well, could be a dodgy seal,...

kool cheers am just off to work so ill whip carb off in the mornin...scoots been sittin a bit so ill clean it while its off...will let ya know if its the 2 stroke oil

also look at the clutch breather as i theclutch side seal goes it pisses it out of there ( located above the back wheel engine side)

ye paul it got a side stand..did hear somewhere that helps leaks

Yeah thats yer problem.... ;D with the engine running whilst on the side stand, oil is escaping from the breather, the mushroom shaped nut on top of the clutch cover. One way to solve this is to make an extended breather using a rear brake adjuster and a length of clear rubber hose. Remove the old breather and screw in the brake adjuster then place and secure the rubber hose over the rest of the adjuster, you may have to secure the hose in place using a fuel jubilee clip or a few zip ties then secure the other end of the hose in a higher place. The other more simpler way is not to start or run your scooter whilst its on the side stand

na it be ok mate think ill chuck the side stand anyway an put centre stand back on..ill let u know how it gets on after i clean the casins and take it a run..
