thats engine oil...looks like 2strok as i just changed the oil so is new...will have the engine out soon so will get a good look and see..

its your side stand mate. had a good dozen or so lads come to me with same problem over the years. when its on the side stand, the oil collects in the clutch cover, and gets yuckked out of the breather. like the previous post , fit a tube to your breather. i used an old breather, cut the mushroom bit off, bit of clear bleed hose, and route it down past your shock, and fasten on with a bracket off coil bracket. or just dont run the motor on the side stand.

30 mins 1 coffee 2 tabs an 2 skint fingers later an its out...its all caked in oil so will need to clean it wen i get time an have a better look Attachments:

ma paj is better than urs ...is def no the breather at top o clucth as thats dry..is clutch gaskit or the main gaskit that betwen the casins..will need to take starter off the morn 4 a gid look..if they ok ill need to chek carb as mayb fuel runnin out next to the hex bolt thing an mixin in wi old oil that all ower it..no time the now as off ta work we go..mark fi the blues says hi ta ya..bumped inta him last nite

i had an oil leak i couldnt find...check the cylindr head is tightnd as oil can leak there..my leak was frm the gasket undr the carb box.

earlier picture loed like rubbing of the clutch cover, unless you scraped it ure back wheels buckled,, whats the base gasket like if in doubt take it to krawf...solved mine in no time and generaly an all round good guy

That's taken some amount of foreplay to get it that wet! If your sure it's not the breather check the seal on the clutch cover and give the casings a good clean and check for any cracks. How does the pool of oil on your back rim smell and "feel"? If there's petrol in it, you should feel your fingerprints rubbing together, if you know what I mean. If it was coming from the carb, you would expect to see a "clean spot" where it had washed all the crap away. I'd give the brake shoes a wee deek as well to make sure there's been no ingress.
