Troops -- wee update on the Special! looks like the top of the carb had rattled loose and was pulling in air -- upshot of this a heat sieze - rebore and new piston and now another 1000miles travelling this magic wee County!

At least i ken what the problem was after it was running so well, the interesting side to the story is the dude that picked me up on Saturday was the same dude who picked up Scot when the carb fell off the s1 a couple of Brids ago -- Salou
1. How long should it take to get a good colour on a spark plug when doing plug chops -- put a new plug in and i cant seem to get much colour on it to read? 2. 600 miles into the run in and up to blasts of 50, I'm running rich just now wi a 123 main jet and when i get just above half throttle it starst to 2 stroke a bit just when main jet kicks in on top of atomiser-- should i go down a size wi main jet or bigger main jet with smaller atomiser? Thoughts?
