Spent 2 hours changing the rear wheel for tubeless ... Fuckin joke getting the wheel in and out ....only to find out the tubeless valve sits at such an angle I cannot get an airhose on it or the mb valve extender cos it fouls on the hub fin... Sick to death of paying top price for shit quality parts. ...question is will I do any harm if I cut the fin down to get the valve to fit ..

The correct answer is send it back or at the very least call said rip off merchant and tell him his shite doesn't fit.

Chris I had to buy 90 degree valves as had same problem, since gone back to split rims as tubeless is a nightmare unless you've got a tyre machine that takes a 10" wheel. Got the valves spare now if you fancy trying them

I'm no expert but I wouldn't take a fin out the hub buddy -- fling it to fuck and get a SIP one -- they are only a slightly less pain in the arse

Sip rims have slightly different valves to AFs. Made by same wheel manufacturer.

Arghhhh .... so it seems that in my struggles to get this fuckin thing to work, I must have damaged the valve ... they tyre is flat less than 24 hours after pumping up (this tyre mangaged to stay up all winter before fitting) .... so the tyre will need to come off to fit a new valve, back to square 1..... BOLLOCKS !!
