You should put LED in the rear light as might be drawing to much current resulting in blown bulbs , had the same problem on my GP. And that cured it

I like the grips you get that you can do it 1handed otherwise same method as the clutch but no pulling as hard , I usually slacken 1 side then pull gently and tighten so you can still select 1st gear then do the other as well or if your adjusters are close in just take them out a bit
