Noticed over the last twa days that first gear is getting harder to find, elbow nearly on the runner boards.
Is this just the gear selector cable needing a tighten?
Easy job or hard?
Also the reason the speedo isn't working is that there is no needle pointer....can get a whole new odo on web for 24 brick, but then mileage goes all back to 0 again...worth changing

WHS, try adjusting the cables first I've no had a needle in my speedo for six years. If yee want to keep yir mileage oan the new speedo just turn the mileage counter wheels by hand, job done.

Sticky's book -- easy job for the cables -- I'd get a working (nearly accurate speedo) -- you dont want a trip to the speed awareness course getting over excited and not knowing. Remember i got caught at 42 in a 40!!
