Troops -- anyone know how to or have the tool to adjust an R1 Shocky? I'll try to post a photo of its current setting.
Also -- might sound dumb with will any adjustment make a difference to the riding height of the bike or just the tension?

Adjustment only alters the amount of travel and poss the speed to rebound to original position

I should have a tool for that.
If yer adjusting the shock with that tool you are adjusting the preload. This is how much the spring is compressed before it does any work. i.e yer making the shock stiffer, for say pillions. or fat fuckers.
If the shock has a wee dial on it, this get adjusted to change the shocks rebound, this is the damping effect that makes the shock return to full length after compression.

Cheers Brads -- will give you a shout once I get a few more miles on the S2 -- the shocky I think is set at the stiffest setting by the look of it
