Decided to put up a new board cause i need help
Kickstart goes doon (no very easy) but disnae come back up. Knock it into gear, pull the clutch in and start pushing but the scoots still in gear (clutch is adjusted as far as it will go). When the rear wheel turns the kickstart wants to turn wi it.
Whats away....the clutch ?? or is there a return spring/sprocket for the kickstart thats buggered.
Any ideas before i split the engine to find whats went wrong

Call yirsells Lammy experts Yis are awe sacked Took the engine apart today and the kickstart shaft has split. Straight job (famous last words) o replacing the shaft. Next question, GP200 engine, LI150 gearbox, LI150 chaincase what shaft do i need GP or LI, see MB's flogging the whole kit for a GP for £48 but states LI casing would need drilled oot for it to fit, a dinnae fancy that, what dae yis think

Nige,I had the same problem a wee while back.I think it depends on which gearbox end plate you've got in,Li or GP. You will need to measure the length of the shaft you have in,there are 3 different ones according to Stickys bible!Early Li is 67.5mm,late Li/Gp 65mm,Indian GP(thicker shaft) is 67mm.The measurement is only the length of the actual shaft which goes through the case, not including the splined bit at the end.Hope this helps. All the best to everyone for the New Year!!!!!!!
