the scene has never truly relied on mods though... but your right without mods there would be no comedy mods in the scene

fair enough Paul ... everyone's entitled to an opinion ... be a boring place if we all agreed on everything, although some of the opinions voiced on there are a fkn joke.
for the record, for me...if they're on a scooter, having a good time and not causing me any grief, everyone is as welcome as anyone else.
ride safe.

Paul ,I really believe you`ve not got a clue what yer on about,, the Mods started the whole British scooter culture,, you know,,? the one you seemingly belong to,, so why is it you go out of your way to belittle others in the scene,, Maybe you`d be better off in the german scooter scene,, or maybe you really want to grow up to be a biker!! either way, get a life ! theres more to worry about than how others lead there life with no harm to you ,,,isn`t there ATB

All middle age fekn moped riders anyway... I think what spoils the scene now is it has become a competition, more about what you own, how many you own, and if you use nylocs or not.. Rather than just being a part of something. Anyway nearly got my moped back on the road, so will hopefully do a few mirror-less rallies this year. And before anybody brings up the subject, yeah i was a Mod.. for about a month or two in the 80s...think my hair fell out and fekd that up..muhahahahaa..anyway lets get back to reality here, and just enjoy what we have............!!!! Krawf....Scoota Scum S.C. hehehe......

I dont belong to that scooter culture mate. i didnt get in to it through being a mod in the revival. im not interested in looking good on m moped. i wana push the power of an italian shopping bike to the limit and beyond I have a life mate... i think you should get one! the German scene is great except for their love of northern soul, bloody wierdos. As for bikes Ive been looking at a tasty rd350.... ;D

and thats one of the things about the scene... folks from different backgrounds, with a different takes on things... as long as they don't try and dictate the way things should be to others, then fine.
as for bikes.... had them meself in the past, and they were fine...just prefer ridin the scooter.

As for bikes Ive been looking at a tasty rd350.... ;D Alright,, let me rephrase that then,, The Scooterist scene (the one you are involved in ) was started by the Mod movement. The club scene was another vehicle owners club. So yes, the Mods started your scene. My point was more about why people feel the need to put others down for there choices,, it`s like the 80`s scooterboys who are all grown up and now resent the Mod scene for starting it all,, (Skolar anyone hahaha) I don`t get it,, why the need to slate others ? The fact is the folk in this club get on with it and have a great life in the scene, whether their backgrounds Mod, skin ,scooterist, Northern soul ,biker whatever. Maybe that upsets some,, I don`t know, I have certainly heard comments made about us, but that is just a total losers attitude as far as I`m concerned. I have no intention of this turning into an argument, I`ve met you plenty Paul and have to say, I enjoyed yer company, and you have plenty to say that interests me so maybe my get a life was harsh, No harm eh? But what people are into is there choice and I don`t see any problems with it, so why should others. Rd 350 eh? got one of there pistons in ma Lammy!. and the 250 coffin tank was a better bike.
