Putting a Franspeed SS tourer the he GP .... the tail can is held on with a fancy bracket that uses long 3 long bolts with spacers that bolt into the rear of the crankcase ... problem is I have studs / nuts in mine .... can they be replaced without splitting the engine ( doubt it ) ... and whats the best/easiest way to remove the studs ?

Lesson learned !! on a brighter not, put it back together last night and the Super tourer looks ( and sounds) the biz.... will get it buttoned up when back off holibags

For future ref
I have a set of stud removers. Cammed grips driven by a 1/2@ drive.
Makes light work of studs and disnae damage the threed either.
Machine mart is your friend.
