I'm sure this has been asked before.... but can't find the thread, who are we using for Tubeless tyre fitting these days, Eclipse won't touch it and the guy I used at Milton road charged me a fortune last time
might be worth switching to pinassco tubeless, the vespa versions are brilliant, so I assume the lammy ones will be equally good

What I do is Stanley knife round both sides of the tyre so you're only left with the edges of the tyre on the rims, then use a screw driver to lift one part of the rubber off the rim and hacksaw through the rest, seems to work OK

I watched the boy at ATS do it years ago, took him no more than 2 minutes start to finish. They claim they have new machines now and it wont take such small wheels :-(

It’s true about the big machines not taking small wheels. I was told to do what Granty does before going to the tyre shop.
I’m in Glasgow most weeks so I use Davie at Glasgow lambretta. Not everyone’s favourite I appreciate.
But I pay £5 a tyre to be fitted.

bought some tyre irons and a tub of soap and done 2 tyres myself on that new series 2, tyres on it were fucked and not holding air despite being a few hundred miles old .... what a pain in the arse getting the old tyres off, one bead on both tyres wouldn't break, ended up jacking the car up on them, which was quite successful.... yes I marked the rims and i quite simply don't care
