chicken punjabi ( this is Fukn lovely)
4 chicken breast fillets 1 large onion 3 plum tomatoes( i used tinned tomatoes) 2 green chilli peppers 1 green pepper 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger 2 cloves of garlic 1 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon of ground cumin seeds( we packet from asdas etc) 1 teaspoon of fenugreek ( as above) 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric 4 cloves 1 cinnamon stick 2 cardamom pods
blitz the onions, ginger, garlic and tomatoes to a paste - add to a pan and simmer for 20 minutes, add a little water if it starts to get too thick or too dry
dice the chilli peppers and add to the pot along with the salt, cumin, chilli powder and turmeric - stir and cook for a couple of minutes
chop the green pepper, add it to the sauce along with the cloves, cinnamon and cardamom and a few tablespoons of water
dice the chicken into pieces& lightly fry (dont let them get to brown)
add it to the sauce along with the fenugreek, cover and simmer for around 15 mins until cooked, again adding a little more water if it gets too thick or too dry
take out the cardamom pods and cinnamon stick and serve and enjoy

its a lovely dish and easy to make ........get ure pinney on and have a bash (got another crackn quick meal 4 ya)

aye its in 2 stages .......blitz 2 cloves and dice the other 4 .......i usauly blitz 3 and chop 1 depends on taste buds .....try it in full and re-adjust if you make it a 2nd time..ps lookin seat recovering theres a message there 4 ya
