I sent an email to their marketing department...
They are very interested in doing a press photocall with our scooters outside the theatre.
Might get our fizzers in the paper, but also good for a laugh.
Was wondering if we can get numbers together - even other clubs that would be interested, then we can get back in touch with them....

Got this off the LCGB site, somebody mentioned summit aboot it at Scabby as well Dunno whos already got tickets or what night everybody is going up or if it's worth getting in touch wi them
The promoters of the show have asked if anyone would be interested in organising ride-outs around the following shows on press nights as well as the ones I'm already doing (Plymouth, Bath, Cardiff, Blackpool and Brighton) :-
Birmingham - 19th May Edinburgh - 26th May Glasgow - 2nd June Manchester - 16th June
I can't do them as I need to keep a day job going, and like me you won't get paid for it, but you will get a number of free tickets (up to 40) to allocate to people prepared to turn up on scooters and do a ride-out on the Tuesday evening to tie in with press night at each theatre. The plan should be along the lines of meeting up a couple of miles from the Theatre and then ride through the town centre as a group, parking outside the Theatre for local press to get photos etc. before going in to the show.
Can anyone who's willing to lead up the above at each location and be able to spend a bit of time planning it with local clubs etc. let me know and I'll pass your details on to the promoters etc . I'll do what I can to help anyone who gets involved.
I'll also be going through the Scootering mag club list over the weekend and trying to contact the local clubs to each place.
Thanks
Euan
