Right Troops - Conspiricy Theory Time -- is this possible -- Buzzing along the road on Lammy -- Fuel at low, just above and probably just going into reserve -- hit a few up & down hills, left & right turns -- go onto reserve or carb gets starved of fuel for a second -- sieze occurs or just conks out What do you think?

Both, if your just aboot tae go onto reserve and yir going up an doon hills it will run oot o petrol. Fuel starvation can cause it tae seize/nip up but theres such a big difference in running oot o petrol and seizing it, that you would know what happened Sorry but as you were the only yin there, only you wid know if it was a seizure or running oot o petrol

runnin oot o petrol means yur barrel isny gettin lubricate, so yi could easily huv hud a wee heat seizure

running out of petrol not only means a loss of lubrication through the 2T oil, but the petrol actually cools the crown of the piston on the intake stroke, so no petrol means a over heating piston.

usualy it revs its nuts off as no fuel and just air intake forces the slide open , wouldnt think its a seizure but could be ?? its one of those things having a 2 stroke

plus if ure low on fuel and going up a hill would also have an effect on how much fuel would be able to get through to the carb from the tank
