Hi everyone, I've managed to mechanically restore most of my 1961 vespa sportique, but I'm struggling to find a competent person or company to shot blast and respray at a reasonable price.
Can anyone help or put me in touch with someone in or around Edinburgh?
Thanks in advance for any help ;-)

Re ur test the guys down at seafield are good bunch. The guy John knows his stuff. Its all changed again dont think you can take test on any manual scooter now. Think to get a2 licence that you will require you will have to use a 400 cc motorbike. Crazy like.

i used 2 wheels at Craigmiller / Cameron Toll for my training & test -- they were excellent

Mk1 powder coating in Gilmerton down at East Fortune will blast it for you.
Painters, theres plenty. Theres a guy called Toby just up from Eclipse in Tranent that does good work for good money.

if it's just a standard spray job ... than as Brads says (they done a silver px for me that was a decent job) , if it's something a bit more "custom" then you'll need to travel. Clan customs through the west do a decent job, or plenty down south if your're after something a bit special

Thanks everyone for your recommendations etc, much appreciated and hope to return the favour some day ;-) Hopefully see you on the road in the next couple of months ! Also, FYI looks like I'll be getting it blasted at: www.hendersonsmetalcleaning.co.uk Near portobello road in edinburgh. They've done several vespas before, I saw one recently done which looks good. Cheers Tony
